
Eduardo is an associate in D’Empaire’s Tax practice group. He received his J.D. from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1995, a Master in Fundamental Rights from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2000, a Master in Advanced Studies in Human Rights in 2010 and a Ph.D. from the same university in 2013. Eduardo teaches at the Ph.D program of the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Eduardo advises clients on a broad range of tax matters involving domestic and international transactions across a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, energy, renewable energy, retail and financial services. He has extensive experience representing clients in all stages of tax disputes, including tax audits, administrative appeals and tax litigation before Venezuelan courts. Eduardo also advises clients on an array of issues including international tax planning, restructurings, cross-border transactions and transfer pricing.
